A tremendous amount of work goes into finals day
before it even starts, much of it falling on the practised and
efficient shoulders of Mark. By the time the day arrived all
the preceding matches had been played, the order of play arrived at
and the umpires arranged. The weather forecast for the Day was dire,
however not just the competitors but a hardy and determined crowd
came to support the players chasing the silverware.

Finals day moved on to the evening
event wonderfully and efficiently organised by Suzy with a host of
helpers.
The presentation of the hard won
silverware, with bottles of wine for runners up followed the meal.
As the evening wore on, tables were
pushed back and the dancing started.
The above is a small selection of the
excellent pictures I was given. Do have a look at the whole
collection especially if you were there. You can see more of
Steve's pictures in his
Flickr album and I have
loaded Mike's and some of my pictures into a Picasa album.
