Annual Dinner and Dance Friday 11th November at the Grand Hotel Arrive 7pm – sit down 7:30pm – carriages at 1pm
If you would like to attend this year’s Dinner and Dance please either put your names on the list in the clubroom or email Carol or Debs your name and choice of menu (see below). Cheques for £40 per person should be made payable to Grasshoppers LTC and can be given to a committee member in the clubroom or posted to Carol Woodman at 1725 Cottage. Dinner Dance Menu Starter
1. Salmon and Haddock Fishcake, anchovy, caper, shallot & pea shoot salad, lemon mayonnaise
2. field mushroom risotto with Sussex Camembert
Main Course
1. Rump of lamb with red wine sauce, mint mash, honey roast carrots
2. fillet of Sea Bass, sauce Duglere, lemon crushed potatoes and grilled asparagus
Vegetarian option Tarte Tatin of red onion & balsamic, Rosti and creamed leeks
Dessert
1. Classic lemon tart, blueberry sauce
2. Choice of selected cheeses
If you wish to make your own table of 8-10 persons please email the names for the whole table to the above email addresses as soon as possible.
Carol has made a special arrangement for their house wine (Il Banchetto - red or white) at £15 per bottle if pre-ordered for a table (£18 if bought on the day). Please pay Carol or Debra in advance if you would like to take advantage of this offer.
